Pay My Water Bill

The City of Clarence-Rockland's water and sewer systems include a plant for the treatment and distribution of drinking water, as well as a sewage treatment basin and a sewage disposal site for the treatment of wastewater. Our water and sewer systems are managed by the Ontario Clean Water Agency.

There are 4 water and sewer billings per year. These bills are due on the last days of January, April, July and October. If you have any questions regarding your water and sewer billing, please contact the City of Clarence-Rockland at 613-446-6022 or waterbilling@clarence-rockland.com.

Water and Sewer Certificates

If you would like to order a water and sewer certificate, please send your request to waterbilling@clarence-rockland.com. Payment of $72 can be made by cheque payable to the City of Clarence-Rockland, 1560 Laurier St, Rockland, ON, K4K 1P7.

Water and Sewer Rates

The water rate imposed in 2024 is $1.4639 per cubic meter compared to $1.4144 per cubic meter in 2023.

The annual fixed water rate imposed in 2024 is $193.56/year per unit, compared to $186.96/year per unit in 2023.

The sewer rate imposed in 2024 is $2.0520 per cubic meter compared to $1.9360 per cubic meter in 2023.

The annual fixed sewer rate imposed in 2024 is $200.88/year per unit, compared to $189.48/year per unit in 2023

Example: A residential unit with a yearly average consumption of 165 cubic meters.

Administrative Fees

1 - Collection calls or Door hanger due to collection: $45.00

 Watering Restrictions
 

Did you know - The watering restrictions by-law is in effect from May 1 to September 1.

If you are on the City of Clarence-Rockland municipal water system, you may water with a mechanical sprinkler according to the following schedule:

Odd-numbered civic addresses (ending with 1, 3, 5, 7, 9)

  • Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

Even-numbered civic addresses (ending with 0, 2, 4, 6, 8)

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday

7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
