Business License Application for Awarded Contracts
The Purchasing Division of our Finance Services Department is responsible for the procurement of goods, services and construction in the City.
Their duties are to:
- Provide fair, open and transparent bid opportunities to contractors and suppliers
- Acquire goods and services as economically as possible through price, quality and delivery
- Work with the core values of the Corporation and in an ethical, professional and accountable manner
Memberships of the Purchasing Division
Purchasing staff maintain a membership and follow the ethics of these associations in their duties:
- Ontario Public Buyers Association (OPBA)
- Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace (OECM)
- Local Authority Services (LAS)
- Supply Chain Ontario
