Roads Traffic and Sidewalks
The City of Clarence-Rockland's Public Works team is responsible for the maintenance and care of our municipal roads, sidewalks and other transportation infrastructure so that pedestrians, motorists and cyclists can move safely and efficiently around Clarence-Rockland.
Some of their responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and repairing:
- Approximately 250 kilometres of road surfaces;
- Sidewalks;
- Shoulders;
- Bridges;
- Culverts; and
- Surface drainage ditches.
- Winter maintenance such as:
- Salting and sanding;
- Snow plowing; and
- Snow removal.
