Christmas Parade of Lights
🎄✨ The magic of Christmas is coming to Clarence-Rockland! ✨🎄
The City of Clarence-Rockland and the Royal Bank, in collaboration with Breuwerk Hoffman, RiverRock Inn, Rockland Marine, and New Beginning Church, invite you to the Christmas Parade of Lights on Sunday, December 1st at 4:30 PM! 🎅🌟
During the parade, treat yourself to delicious treats for the whole family:
🍕 Pizza slices from Domino’s, cookies from Son X Plus, and hot drinks served by Remax Delta Realty, Cabinet Sauvé, Beat the Banks, Big River Cannabis, Friendly’s, P. Morin Automobile, McDonald's, Connexion Clarence-Rockland, and the Clarence-Rockland Chamber of Commerce. 🎉🍪☕
Starting at 1:30 PM, get into the festive spirit:
📸 Take your own photos with Santa and meet the Grinch at RiverRock Inn (1:30 PM to 3:30 PM)!

Some businesses will be generously donating during the Christmas parade! Before the parade, these companies will offer you a little treat while you watch the floats near their locations! You can go to:

Information
All businesses, associations and schools in Clarence-Rockland and the area can participate. Places are limited! Participants from Clarence-Rockland will be prioritized.
Float Decorating
Since the Parade is at nighttime, we recommend that you illuminate your float as much as possible. Be creative and have fun bringing your brand or company image to life on your float!
Please note that all floats must be decorated and those that are not will be removed from the parade.
Rules
It is important that ALL the participants respect ALL the following rules in order that the event proceeds safely:
- Children’s under 10 years old ARE NOT authorized to walk on either side of the floats. They must stay on the float at ALL times.
- The participants on the floats ARE NOT authorized to embark and disembark the floats after the parade has started.
- One (1) vehicle and one (1) trailer per association / business are permitted.
- NOBODY should be disguised as a Santa Clause. The real Santa Clause is at the end of the parade.
- It is prohibited to throw objects (e.g. candies) to the crowd directly from the floats. Objects must be given to the crowd by the participants who are walking on either side of the floats.
- It is forbidden to return to Heritage Street after the parade with people on the float. An alternative mode of transportation must be organized from New Beginning Church (former Knights of Columbus) to Heritage Street if necessary.
Each participant will receive an e-mail with their position number a few days prior the event. You will need to visibly show your number on the windshield of your vehicle. On the day of the Parade, you will find that each number will have a designated place on Heritage Road. It is important to read your e-mails the week before the Parade.
