We are no longer accepting registrations to the 2024 Parade.

Float Decorating

Since the Parade is at nighttime, we recommend that you illuminate your float as much as possible. Be creative and have fun bringing your brand or company image to life on your float!

Please note that all floats must be decorated and those that are not will be removed from the parade.

Rules

It is important that ALL the participants respect ALL the following rules in order that the event proceeds safely:

  1. Children’s under 10 years old ARE NOT authorized to walk on either side of the floats. They must stay on the float at ALL times.
  2. The participants on the floats ARE NOT authorized to embark and disembark the floats after the parade has started.
  3. One (1) vehicle and one (1) trailer per association / business are permitted.
  4. NOBODY should be disguised as a Santa Clause. The real Santa Clause is at the end of the parade.
  5. It is prohibited to throw objects (e.g. candies) to the crowd directly from the floats. Objects must be given to the crowd by the participants who are walking on either side of the floats.
  6. It is forbidden to return to Heritage Street after the parade with people on the float. An alternative mode of transportation must be organized from New Beginning Church (former Knights of Columbus) to Heritage Street if necessary.

Each participant will receive an e-mail with their position number a few days prior the event. You will need to visibly show your number on the windshield of your vehicle. On the day of the Parade, you will find that each number will have a designated place on Heritage Road. It is important to read your e-mails the week before the Parade.
