City of Clarence-Rockland Brings Back Talktober with Two Key Consultations for Residents

Clarence-Rockland, September 26, 2024 — This October, the City of Clarence-Rockland is excited to bring back Talktober, an opportunity for residents to have their say on two important topics: the Recreation and Culture Master Plan and the 2025 Budget Consultation.

Recreation and Culture Master Plan Consultation

The Recreation and Culture Master Plan is a long-term vision that will guide the development of recreational facilities, programs, and cultural initiatives in Clarence-Rockland. The city is seeking input from residents to ensure that future offerings meet the needs of all age groups, enhance quality of life, and reflect the community’s values.

Residents can provide feedback online from October 9 - 31 via the city's consultation platform consultations-cr.ca or participate in one of the in-person public consultations (more details to follow):

  • October 22 – Optimiste Performance Hall – 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
  • October 30 – Bourget Community Centre – 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

2025 Budget Consultation

From October 10 - 24, share your input online through the city's consultation platform on the 2025 Budget. Your feedback will help guide how municipal funds are allocated to meet the needs of our community.

Mark your calendars for the November 18-20, 2024, budget presentations at the Council Chambers to learn more about the proposed budget and its impact on Clarence-Rockland.
