The entire community is in mourning today for Mayor Guy Desjardins, a man who dedicated himself to the City of Clarence-Rockland, and who was a Mayor appreciated by all.

The funeral of Mr. Guy Desjardins will take place on Thursday, July 8, 2021 and will be broadcast on Facebook Live on the page Cité de / City of Clarence-Rockland at 11:00 a.m.

You are also invited to pay tribute to Mayor Desjardins during the procession that will pass on Laurier Street. If you wish to pay your respects this way, please stand on the sidewalk between Simoneau Street and Montée Outaouais, at 10:15 am. The procession will also pass in Clarence Creek, and people can stand along Beauchamp and Lemay Streets.
