Description

This program is designed for senior community members with diverse fitness levels, aiming to enhance cardiovascular performance, strength, flexibility, balance, and overall functionality in daily activities. All exercises will be expertly instructed, offering adaptations and personalized options to meet individual needs.

What a typical class will look like:

• Begin with a 15-minute warm-up, incorporating stretching and a brief check-in.

• Engage in a 30-minute walk (or optional jog) around the upper rink area, interspersed with age and fitness-appropriate "functional" strength training at regular intervals (e.g., every 3 minutes and/or every 3 laps).

• Conclude with a 10-15 minute cool-down, including stretching and a final check-out.

Our instructor, Linda Bouchard, is dedicated to the health and well-being of all community members and is looking forward to helping participants either regain, or maintain their mobility and fitness.
