Fall cleaning for the residential sector

CLARENCE-ROCKLAND – September 15, 2021 - The residential Fall Clean-Up program will take place from September 27 to October 8, 2021, on the usual garbage collection day. Residents will be required to place their regular garbage (limit of 3 bags) and recyclables on one side of the driveway and large items/scrap on the other side. Please place items curbside on the ground before 6:30 am.
A maximum volume of 4' x 8' x 4' will be collected. Metal items must be placed apart as they will be collected separately.

Watering Ban for Clarence-Rockland

CLARENCE-ROCKLAND – August 30, 2021 – Due to a major watermain break in Rockland, exterior water usage is prohibited until further notice for everyone connected to the City of Clarence-Rockland’s regional water system. This action will give the City an opportunity to bring the system back to normal working capacities.
We will notify the population when the repairs are completed, and exterior water usage is permitted again. This ban includes all mechanical and manual watering.

Major Watermain Break in Rockland

CLARENCE-ROCKLAND – August 30, 2021 – The Rockland urban area of the municipality has no water this morning due to a major water main break on Du Parc Avenue. This break caused the water tower, located on St-Joseph Street, to empty.
The City of Clarence-Rockland is presently on site to repair the break, and we will give updates as soon as possible. However, it is impossible at the moment to give an estimated time for the repairs.
