The big fall cleaning will be completed next week

CLARENCE-ROCKLAND – October 9, 2020 – Due to the high volume of waste, the Fall Clean-Up will continue until early next week.

Residents have surely noticed that Public Works employees our contractors have not yet visited some areas of the municipality and that bulky waste items are still at the curb. We thank the citizens for their patience and collaboration; these sectors will be completed by next Wednesday.

We would also like to express our disappointment for the inappropriate conduct of some residents towards our employees. Public Works employees and our contractors must comply with municipal guidelines which outline the volume of waste as well as the items that cannot be picked up. They deserve a courteous work environment, free of abusive language. You can view the guidelines at the following link https://www.clarence-rockland.com/index.php/en/environmental-activities

Please also note that there will be a free weekend at the municipal landfill site on October 23 and 24, 2020.
